    Hello,
The “Red House Manor” is the oldest manor house in the North America … Located on the famous “Route de la Nouvelle France”, just minutes from Old Quebec, and little more than one hour from NY with the 2 direct flight/day. This imposing building style French Breton manor figure in many guides evoking the story of Canada. It is also found in the most beautiful books on the region of Quebec.
Its history is directly linked to that of the first settlers since 1655. Lord Chesnay Bertrand de La Garenne, the first recorded owner, made the first written acquisition. Specifically, he bought “three walls and a stone fireplace” dating from the arrival of the first emigrants around 1608. Given the techniques used, the home is likely the work of masons Breton who emigrated in the early seventeenth century.
This manor house is on sale now.
